To the Louisa May Alcott Community School Board and Mapleton City:
We are Mapleton residents and neighbors concerned about student and pedestrian safety on 1200 North, where the proposed school site sits directly across the street from Hobble Creek Elementary.
We ask the school board to choose a different site.
We ask Mapleton City to use its full authority under Utah Code §10-20-304 to protect student safety, including requiring a supplemental traffic and pedestrian study, counted while Hobble Creek is in session, and a thorough review of access, circulation and pedestrian safety before approving any plans.
